In addition, from the onset, the center gets the client’s family involved. While many programs include a family therapy component, New Method Wellness goes a step further with weekly support groups just for the family that takes place virtually and the only topic that’s off-limits is client discussions. The goal is global healing by allowing everyone’s voice to be heard because recovery encompasses each individual’s sober community. 

New Method Wellness is also known for its strict confidentiality policies. “Because we do so much trauma work, safety, confidentiality, and adequate resources are a top priority,” adds McKenzie. “Trauma is really hard, so it’s imperative that the individuals we’re serving can trust that each member on our team really wants to help and that they are in a secure environment.”
