HOFH Elite Care Center Spotlight:Northpoint Recovery

Located throughout the Pacific Northwest and Midwest, Northpoint Recovery offers a range of treatment options for adults and teens who suffer from addiction and mental health issues. Led by a staff of caring individuals–many of whom are in recovery themselves–the team brings the company’s four core values into their work each and every day. They are inspired, humbled, conviction, and heart.

“Everyone who works at Northpoint Recovery really cares about what they do and the people they treat,” says Haley Randolph, Corporate Director of Marketing. “We’re not just here to punch a clock; we’re here to help people.”

Within its caring and supportive environment, Northpoint Recovery offers a full continuum of care that offers holistic individualized support. An individual can go into the detox program, then transition into the residential program, then graduate to the outpatient program to help them transition back into their regular life, and finally, they are invited to participate in the alumni program.

“Everything we do is about connection. One of our differentiators is that we do a really good job of living out our core values and this includes our alumni program,” says Mark Jones, Ph.D., MBA, Vice President of the Nebraska Market. “We strive to keep a connection to our alumni. It’s not just making a phone call to check in with them, it’s inviting them back to campus activities, hosting regular outings with them, and connecting alumni across the country. We pride ourselves on creating a Northpoint Recovery community for people in all programs.”

“When someone leaves our treatment center or even if they thinking about coming, no matter where they are at in their treatment journey, we are there for them every step of the way. From the moment they call into us to years after their discharge, we’re here,” adds Randolph. “We understand that there are hiccups along the road and no matter what our program is there for them. Their success is our success.”

The addiction treatment programs at Northpoint Recovery can address both mental health concerns and substance abuse. The centers offer a safe, cozy, and nurturing environment with staff who have a vested interest in each individual’s treatment. During the course of the programs, clients will learn to manage their individual triggers and temptations as well as how to prevent relapse by developing skills to stay in recovery.

Recovery for Athletes

As a Hall of Fame Health Elite Care Center, Northpoint Recovery is familiar with the treatment needs of athletes.

“Heroes have scars too,” says Jones. “We have a lot of experience in supporting athletes at different stages of their careers. One thing we’re getting better at as a society is letting athletes know that it’s okay to not be okay. Even if you think you have to be invincible, you don’t.”

Through its programs at various locations, Northpoint Recovery offers private treatment where individuals can deal with sensitive issues. Each treatment plan is individualized, and there are several staff members who can help address athlete-specific matters.

“The ways in which Northpoint Recovery embodies its core values are truly remarkable. It starts with the dedicated staff and is felt by the connectedness of each individual in the program,” says Ryan Cain, President of the behavioral health division for Hall of Fame Health. “We are honored to welcome them as an Elite Care Center and we look forward to serving and changing lives together.”

“If you’re thinking about getting help but you haven’t taken the next step, I would encourage you to listen to your wise mind,” adds Jones. “Deep inside we all have a wise mind. Listen to the part of your brain that has the wisdom that ‘I can’t do this alone’ and ‘I need help.’ Don’t push that wise mind away.”
